KIWANIS Philippine Luzon District

The Kiwanis Philippine Luzon District is part of Kiwanis International

a global volunteer organization dedicated to improving the world one child and one community at a time. We focus primarily on serving children, youth, and communities across Luzon through hands-on service projects, leadership development programs, and disaster response initiatives. Our key areas of impact include: Child-Focused Service Projects: Providing essential support such as eyeglasses for children’s vision, medical missions, school supplies, and programs under laws like the Adopt-a-School Act to enhance education in underserved areas. Youth Leadership Development: Sponsoring and guiding Service Leadership Programs, including Key Clubs (high school student-led service organizations—the Philippine Luzon District has over 44 chartered Key Clubs), K-Kids, Builders Clubs, and Aktion Clubs for individuals with disabilities. These build character, leadership skills, and a passion for community service. Environmental Stewardship: Initiatives like large-scale tree planting (e.g., district-wide goals of 20,000 seedlings), riverbank protection, and Earth Day cleanups to create a healthier future for generations. Disaster Relief and Community Outreach: Quick-response caravans and aid for natural disasters (e.g., earthquakes, volcanic eruptions like Taal, typhoons), including medical missions, relief goods distribution, and support for evacuees. Health, Nutrition, and Special Needs Support: Hosting Special Games for athletes with intellectual disabilities, inclusive activities, and programs promoting health and nutrition for children from womb to age 5 and beyond. Through our network of local Kiwanis clubs and divisions, we partner with communities, schools, and other organizations to make lasting differences—whether through fun events, educational contests, or direct aid.
